CottonPaws slowly padded her way along the edge of the river bank, sighing to herself. She was quite happy with her new home but something felt out of place and the feeling ate a whole through her heart to the point where the large pink fae just wanted to be alone. Flopping down in the dirt, she sighed heavily again.

The sunny day did nothing for her mood, despite her adoration of a sunny day. Looking down muscular forelegs, CottonPaws was again awed by her own bulk and size. She knew she was no where near the size of her father or other Etusian wolves but she was still large for a fae her age. It was this fact that depressed her furth for it made her think of her family. Perhaps, if Liv had not been so busy, she might have distracted herself with helping the healer. However, to day it seemed all were busy and CottonPaws was alone with the river and her thoughts.

Einoubis trugged silently through the desert sand, the hot grains burning at his pawpads. But, being desert bred, it didn't bother the male wolf at all.

Instead, he focused on the fact that, though staying with the pack, wasn't really apart of the Eidolons. 'Maybe they don't trust me...? Or is it because I'm weak?' He thought, and his ears lowered against his head.

'That must be it... my packmates killed my parents because of it...'

So lost in thought, the eygptian wolf didn't notice the bright pink fur on the riverbank, slowly walking past the female in his sorrow.

But, as fate had it, it wouldn't allow him to go and leave the fae unnoticed, so his tail swished and gently hit against her shoulder. Feeling the contact, the male whirled around swiftly to see who it was, only to lower his ears at the site of another wolf.

"Oh... sorry..." He said quietly, his timid nature reigning over his form.

CottonPaws liften her fluffy head and offered a kind smile to the sad wolf. Nevermind her own problems, they didn't matter if someone else need a ear to complain too.

It's alright, I'm kind of in the way here aren't I? Are you...are you alright?

CottonPaws herself hated nosy wolves, ones that were just nosy and not concerned, so she hoped she sounded as geniuinely caring as she felt. She hated to see others so sad. Sitting up a bit she kept her violet gaze on the brute and let the smile rest on her lip hoping with would bring one to his maw as well.

Einoubis, not being use to someone smiling at him, kind of took a small step back, his ears flat against his head. Fluffy tail swayed gently behind him, showing that he was a bit nervous.

"I'm... fine." He answered, keeping his nervous emerald eyes on the fae before him. He kept his gaurd up, stating such in his tense posture, as he watched the pink fae.

'She seems nice enough... but that's how my packmates were. A false since of security.' He thought, furrowing his dark brows.

The scene may have looked kinda pathetic, a male wolf, a bit larger than the she-wolf, was slowly cowering under her gaze.

"Truely, I am pathetic..." He murmered to himself, unaware that he spoke the sentence outloud.

CottonPaws was taken aback when he tensed, keeping a careful, suspicious gaze on her and flattening his ears. Surely he didn't think SHE was capable of harming anyone? Except for maybe the stray bug beneath her paws, CottonPaws had never hurt anyone or anything.

Pathetic? Why would you say that? I suppose it could be worse though, you could be pink!

Trying to make a joke, the fae laughed a little, a light whimsical sound that drifted slowly away with the gentle breeze that whafted through the harsh terra. Perhaps she should stop smiling and laughing though, maybe that's what was making the brute so nervous!!

Einoubis looked at the chuckling she-wolf as if she were crazy, looking over her pink and blue form with confusion.

"You... you think being pink is bad?" He asked quietly, tilting his head when he heard her laugh. He blink his shining emerald blue eyes, furrowing his dark brows as he looked her over.

"I don't see what's so bad about having pink fur... I think you look pretty." The male said with a slight studder, not because of his comment, but for the unknown reason as to why she was being kind to him.

'Maybe... she means it?' He questioned himself, and the egyptian wolf allowed himself to relax somewhat. Timidly, he gave the fae a small smile, taking a small step forward.

"Could... I sit next to you?" He asked shyly, his ears still flat to show submission; an instinct he picked up when with his old pack.

If she could have beneath all that fluff, the fae would have blushed. She'd never received a compliment before and she rather liked it. However she scooted a little bit, careful not to move to suddenly lest she friend the brute, and nodded her head.

Th-thank you...Sure, it'd be nice to have some company...and yes, it's hard to be pink and try to hunt when everything around you is brown!

There was mirth in the gentle voice but really, CottonPaws was telling the exact truth. She highly doubted the others had as difficult time hunting as she but then, that was just the self-absorbed nature and thinking she wanted to avoid! Of course others had much more difficult things to work through! How could she be so selfcentered and inconsiderate?? However her worried mind was put at ease when he gave her a shy smile.

"Yet, you are still able to catch something. You should atleast congratulate yourself on that." Einoubis said, his smile slowly growing. "Actually, it's much easier to hunt as a pink wolf, instead of hunting with a collar."

He raised his paw, allowing his relic to hit against his shackle, and a loud clank was heard.

"This relic always hits against my shackles. Too noisy." He commented, leaning a bit. "Anyway, I was wondering what your name was, and where you came from."

Einoubis smiled at the tall and muscular fae, feeling more and more comfortable as the minutes ticked by. "You seem to be a rather large fae, bigger than any I've seen, at least. That's pretty cool."

Areno panted as he trotted along in the desert heat. It was one of the things he hated about living in the Eidolons. It was so freakin’ dry. Big game was hard to come by. Lizards or reptiles of any kind were the in meat. The whelp had never seen a green plant stay green. It was usually gone or dead by the next day. Water was the only thing that he ever had to really worry about. He could always snack on crunchy bugs if food became suddenly scarce.

“Riskie!” he called over his shoulder, as if his guardian was lagging behind. “Hurry! The river,” he licked his lips, “is not much farther!” His little paws were placed one in front of the other as he purposely walked as if he was drunk or something. It was a way to get over his boredom as they walked towards the water source.

The soft running of water reached his darker-toned ears as they neared closer to the river. “Finally!” Areno let out a breath of relief before rushing towards the gentle waters. He came to a skidding halt just before he reached the water’s edge. Carefully, he lowered his body flat against the earth before craning his head over the water to drink. He took chunks out of the water, biting at it to obtain it. Once he had his refreshment, he whirled around to find his guardian. “Riskie! Riskie come o—huh?” he stopped as he heard wolves talking.

Golden orbs glanced down the river bank and found two wolves conversing. He wasn't sure what to make of them. One was pink, a color he had never seen on any living creature, and the other wore strange things on it. Not knowing them, he got down into a defensive stance and puppy-barked at them. In-between his barks, he yelled for Risk, “Riskie! There’s two outsiders in Mister Belli’s territory!” He glanced from where Risk would be to the two unknown wolves. He wasn’t about to let them out of his sight!

Following the pup he smiled inwardly, the red-mawed brute hadn't done that in a year.

"Riskie."

Stopping mid stride, Risk almost dropped the fox. Only Tali had ever called him that, shaking his head he walked on; it was only Areno. As they neared the source of water the brute's eyes softened, watching the youngster drink.

“Riskie! Riskie come o—huh?” “Riskie! There’s two outsiders in Mister Belli’s territory!”

About to smile at the child's eagerness he realized the pup was right. Turning to look where Areno had turned his gaze, Risk dropped the creature in his maw; letting it slip to the ground. Stepping towards the two wolves, his eyes were only for the pink. "Tali?" He voiced in amazement. The sandy brute was remembering the pink that his mate had carried with her on her pelt. She died, snap out of it! The inner voice snarled at him.

Cotton smiled. The brute was relaxing and for that she was greatful, he was making her nervous!

I'm CottonPaws. I cam from the farther moutainous region south of here but Belli and Liv were kind enough to let me stay here...I suppose I am a bit of a bumbling beast...but you're even bigger than I am! What's you're name?

She was about to reply to his statement about being to noisy with the shackles and such when a small puppy-like voice rang out nearby, startling her into a sitting position. He seemed to be accusing her of tresspassing and CottonPaws, in her pretty overly concerned little head, hoped she wouldn't be causing too much of a fuss if they didn't know about the addition to the pack quite yet. CottonPaws had been hesitant about joining the rest of the wolves for her size and color were sure to be a bother to the pack.

Oh! Dear me, I...we're...that is, I mean to say...We're not intruders! I'm part of the Eidlons pack...Oh bother. Perhaps I've wandered to far away!

CottonPaws babbled on amidst her worry that she'd been a nusiance and looked between the small pup and the male she'd been talking to for the last several minutes, wondering if indeed she had made such a mistake as to wander into strange terra. But no, she would have smelled the change in land ownership...but then of course she could have been to absorbed in her own misery to have noticed!! What a bother that would make her! But that little pup was just so darn cute she couldnl't help but giggle.

Tali?

Quirking her head to one side, CottonPaws looked confused. He knew another wolf as pink as she? Perhaps they were related! What fun that could be. But alas, it seemed the brute was recalling a distant memory and was not really seeing CottonPaws but someone else.

N-no, I'm sorry I'm CottonPaws...um...I, that is I mean...oh dear, I'm so-- I should stop rambling I guess its just I don't want, I mean...ah I'm sorry!

Einoubis watched as the she-wolf offered her name, a smile reigning over his lips as she did. 'So, it's Cottonpaws. Heh, it fits you well.' He thought, looking over the cute she-wolf again.

The usually timid wolf began to feel more outgoing, about to answer to Cottonpaw's question, when a small pup howled out that they were intruders.

Truth be told, though he was with the pack, he wasn't really apart of if, so him being an intruder was sort of accurate, but the male was pretty sure that Cottonpaws was an Eidolon wolf.

As Cottonpaws studdered on her words a bit, trying to explain for the both of them, Einoubis moved to help her, only to be stopped when he heard a deep voice speak.

Turning, his pupils dilated when he saw the muscular form of another male, his ears flattening instantly, showing complete submission and a bit of fear in his eyes.

"...did we... did we do something wrong, sir?" He asked quietly, moving much closer to Cottonpaws, his shoulder bumping into hers as he looked back and forth, from the brute to the little, adorable puppy, then back to the brute again.

Areno puppy-growled at the two as he waited for Risk to catch up. When the pink one spoke to him, he ceased his growling. He cocked his head to one side when she said she was an Eidolon. ‘I don’t remember her ever being an Eidolon,’ he thought to himself, ‘Maybe she’s new?’

When he heard a thump next to him, the whelp jerked away. He hadn’t been expecting Risk to just drop his kill right there! Golden gaze looked from the two ‘outsiders’ to Risk to the two ‘outsiders’ and then to Risk again. ‘Does Riskie know them?’ he wondered after hearing his guardian utter a name. The whelp raised an invisible brown as to what was going on.

He looked to pinky to see if she was this ‘Tali’. It appeared not, as she started to stutter again. “Who’s ‘Tali’, Riskie?” he asked quietly as if it were a secret between two friends. The little brute looked to the one who wore weird things on him when he spoke up beside Cottonpaws, asking Risk a question. Where he was once on alert, he was now curious. They didn’t seem to be of any threat, so the whelp waddled straight up to them and began his assault.

“Miss Cottonpaws, if you’re an Eidolon, how come I’ve never seen you before?” he asked the pink she-wolf first. His gaze then flickered to her companion, “Mister, what are those things growing on you? Are they a birth defect?” He had never seen what the brute had on before. Areno had seen many defects though, especially with all the pups that Belli took in.

The little brute waited patiently for his questions to be answered. His golden eyes skipped around the three adults as he waited.

All of what the pink fae said was lost as he flashed back to the days when Tali was there. Remembering her the sandy brute felt ashamed at how he had acted the past year.

"...did we... did we do something wrong, sir?"

That voice brought him to the present and he felt a sense of dark pleasure as he saw the male had become submissive. But Risk banished that, Tali would have been so upset. About to speak he heard Areno's quiet question.

“Who’s ‘Tali’, Riskie?”

Though the pup had made it quiet, Risk took the same quiet tone, but it was loud enough for both the others to hear. "An old...Friend." About to become somber Risk couldn't help but to smile as Areno asked more questions to the other male; and thinking of Tali as he did it. Risk lowered his tail slightly, and left his ears to themselves; much less like a threatening male. Perhaps the other male might relax a bit, or perhaps not.

CottonPaws just couldn't help herself. The pup was just too cute! A big paw reached out and hauled the little darling closer as she licked his head and chewed his ear playfully. She LOVED pups, if she'd known there were pups in Eidlons she might have been around more.

I haven't been here long....and I try to stay out of the way, I tend to be ratherclumsy.

The pink fae smiled softly and turned her violet eyes up to 'Riskie', wondering why he had called her Tali. It certainly seemed that Tali had been much more than an old friend; but that was just CottoPaws nosy nature. Moving her big paw from the pup, she smiled at Risk wondering about the red brute. She'd never seen such interesting wolves before and they seemed very nice. Perhaps they'd all be friends! That is, if the little pup learned which questions should not be asked. CottonPaws was about to say as such but held her tongue. Perhaps the 'Riskie' was the pups father and wouldn't like some strange fae chastizing his son.

Einoubis, still having himself pressed gently against Cottonpaws' shoulder, moved away from her, watching as she licked at the pup and chewed on his ears.

True, the puppy was adorable, but his questions kind of stung at his heart; the adolecent didn't even know why they did. Shrugging the confusing feeling away, the male timidly answered, emerald-blue eyes flickering to the red male in apprehension.

"These... aren't growing on me." He said. "They are accessories; this relic on my neck is a collar... and the shiny things on my wrists and ankles are shackles."

Einoubis tried to explain it as best as he can, his eyes flickering from the pup, to the red brute, then to Cottonpaws. Seeing that she seemed comfortable around the two newcomers, the egyptian wolf allowed himself to relax slightly, his tail coming from between his legs.

Despite it, his ears remained flat on his head, emerald-blue eyes still ever alert for any attack, even though he doubted that it would come. 'Heh, just call me paranoid.' He thought to himself sarcastically, slowly reaching a paw up and allowing his shackle to hit his relic, like he did with Cottonpaws.

"See?" He asked the pup, hitting the relic again for the clanking sound to be heard. "It's not made of skin."

'But made out of pure gold from my temple.' He said, leaving his thought out of his sentence.

Areno looked at Risk oddly for a moment, as if not truly believing his words. He decided he’d ask about this Tali at a later time. The whelp about to return his attention back to the two unknown wolves when he was suddenly attacked! He squirmed as he was hauled into a pink mass. Something warm and slimly raked across his head and caused him to give a muffled cry for his guardian, “Riskie!” They his ear was attacked!

The nibbling sensation made Areno give a child’s squeal in delight. “That tickles!” he giggled. He barely heard Cottonpaws’ explanation over his laughing. When she finally freed him from her grasp, Areno shot off and flopped over in the warm sand. He wriggled on his back in a movement made by a fish in the water. As he was moving about in the sand, he heard the male speak up again.

Instantly, he stopped his movements and looked towards the brute’s direction. His darker-toned ears stood erect as he listened to what the desert-bred wolf said. He cocked his head to the side, showing his confusion at the wolf’s words. When the brute finished, Areno flopped over onto his belly and sprinted over to him to watch him demonstrate.

The sound made by the two objects hitting each other intrigued Areno. His stuck his little face as close to the shackles as he could, inspecting them himself. Black nose was going wild as he sniffed them. “How’d you get them on you, Mister?” he asked, looking up at the brute. Areno frowned before quickly adding, “What’s your name, Mister?” He hadn’t heard the brute say his name yet.

As he waited for the desert-bred brute’s reply, golden orbs glanced at Risk every few seconds. He wondered what his guardian would do with these two strangers.

Einoubis watched as the little pup made his way over to him, looking at his accessories with a critical eye... or, as critical a pup could get. The brute listened to the puppy's questions, intent on not looking directly at the red brute, and he tilted his head.

How did he get his accessories on?

Einoubis hesitated, furrowing his brows; it was law that an Ubukozai wolf doesn't tell others how to get on and take off their signature accessory, but, in this case, Einoubis decided it wouldn't hurt.

'Besides, I'm not apart of that pack anymore.' He thought, leaning forward slightly.

"Watch carefully." He said, lowering his head to his left shackle. With trained fangs, he slipped then into the two holes that held the shackle to his wrist, twisting his head slightly to the right. A small clip came up, and with his tongue, pushed it back, and it effectively made the shackle come off.

He placed it infront of the puppy, showing it to him.

"That's how it comes off." He said, then grabbed it again. Using his other paw, he put the shackle up to his wrist, moving it so that it was faced properly. Again, he slipped his fangs into the holes, but this time, twisted his head left. The clip that had came up automatically clamped down, and he used his tongue to push it fully into place, making the shackle clutch snugly and comfortably on his wrist again.

"And that's how you put it on; no on else can take it off or put it on but me, 'cause it's my exact fang size. That way, no one can steal it." He exlpained, feeling a little more comfortable around the new comers.

"If you like it so much, I can make you some. I can do so for all of you." The brute offered, trying to be outgoing and friendly towards them. Suddenly remembering the puppy's other question, he turned to him, allowing his voice to be loud enough for the other brute to hear.

"My name's Einoubis, little one."

All Risk could do was stand there like an idiot. He looked on, but without really seeing anything. The sandy brute sat down on his rump, hard; something was not quite right. He'd forsaken Tali, and turned his back on her ideals. He had never really deserved her.

'Had I?'

CottonPaws continued to look between the pup and the adult, wondering just who they were and why the red one seemed so put out, staring into space like he was. Ah! That was none of her business!!! Shame, shame! CottonPaws criticized herself, looking down at the inquistive pup once more and then to her new friend Einoubus, smiling. This was nice. Much nicer than that excuse for a home she'd come from not so long ago. How that pack had hated her!! Shaking her big head, the pink fae pushed the angyr, sad thoughts aside. They would do her no good here.

Finally finishing her duty for the moment Liv padded to the river bed for a quick drink before she was called on aging. Today had become so chaotic, some strange cold had struck several of the pups, it was nothing serious but rather worrisome and time consuming. Not to mention she had not seen Ryugan or Belli all day...which meant the voice was reeking havoc in her head as she tried to work, giving her an ear splitting head ace and causing her to glance over her own shoulder in fear. Her dusty reddish tinted body slumped over dragging it's tired self to the water. With a sigh she was about to lower her head for a drink when her large ears twitched to voices down wind of her. The females head shot up quickly, her large green eye analyzing the situation. “Aw it's Cottonpaws! What a sweet little thing...I haven't seen her all day! And Areno! ...and Risk...and oh what was that last ones name...Einoubis? Ahh yes that was the new arrival I was uneasy about earlier." She thought looking down at the group.

“Look at Risk with those pups; do you really trust that the brute won't murder them all without a moment’s hesitation? And sweet heart do you not remember how uneasy Einoubis made you? It's so comical how hard you try while the things you love still dance in threat and danger..." The voice grinned wickedly. Listening to it she trotted to the group, though she was exhausted she could simply walk past such a gathering. She shot Risk a glare before greeting everyone. " A little get together by the river eh?" she said tiredly, not only was she worn out but just about everyone knew groups made her uneasy...not to mention groups with two wolves she didn't know to well. “Morning Cotton! Sorry I haven't had time to see you today!" Liv nuzzled the younger female, she was quiet affectionate to anyone she had saved. " And Areno I haven't see you for a long time! And..hey Risk. I see you two became fast friends," She tried to sound as light hearted as possible. " Einoubis...right? Hope your enjoying your stay here. Have you joined us offically yet?" She tried to talk to everyone, Though her paw pads drummed on the floor anxiously.

Trying to make things less awkward between Einoubis and her she commented on the bracelets she had not noticed the first time they met. “Those are beautiful; did you ever share where you were from before you came to this pack?" she looked beside him to Cottonpaws curiously…she seemed to have taken a liking to him.

Areno watched him with wide, curious eyes. His little tail wagged in excitement as the brute demonstrated how to take them off. When he placed the shackle in front of him, Areno stepped forward and sniffed it once more before it was taken up. Golden gaze carefully watched the brute replace it back onto his forepaw.

“Wow!” he gasped. He cocked his head when he realized something. “How come—how come someone would want to steal it?” he asked, “Is it because it’s pretty?” The whelp then perked up, wagging his tail, when he brute offered to make him some. “That’d be cool! Then I can look like you, Mister!” he stated childishly before turning to Risk, “Wouldn’t that be cool, Riskie?”

He turned towards Cottonpaws when she was silent throughout everything. He waddled over to her and looked up, his head tilted to one side once more. “What’s the matter Miss Cottonpa—” he began before cutting his question short. The sound of nearing footfalls caused the little brute to look around for whoever was walking around.

His golden gaze found a familiar she-wolf joining the group. The glare she sent towards Risk did not go unnoticed by the whelp. His question forgotten, the whelp greeted the she-wolf, “Hello Miss Liv!” He then scampered over to his guardian and sheltered himself beneath the adult’s frame.

“Riskie!” he called in a forced whisper to get his attention. Not waiting for Risk to react, Areno was already continuing with what he was going to say. “Why’d she look at you like that?” he inquired quietly. He was curious as to why the glare was given. Was it adult talk? Or was there something else that he hadn’t noticed?

Einoubis twitched his ears as the pup excitedly spoke, making the adolecent smile, even if it was small. 'How cute.' He thought, looking over the pup before looking back at the brute male and CottonPaws.

Before he could say anything, however, he heard a familiar voice, and Einoubis turned to see Liv making her way over to the group. Trying to be friendly, he nodded his head in a friendly gesture.

"Morning, Liv. It seems that you've been working quite hard; I trust you are here for a well earned rest?" He greeted, offering her a spot to sit by Cottonpaws, seeing that she seemed to be comfortable around the Etutsian more than any of the males around.

He took a seat, now closer to the brute and the pup, who he had heard to be Risk and Areno. 'Huh... I guess the names fit them.' He thought, looking nervously at the brute and then the puppy.

As Liv struck a conversation with everyone, Einoubis seemed to feel a little more relaxed, allowing his tense muscles to loosen up a bit.

However, that returned to a tense, almost defensive posture when Liv asked about where he had came from before reaching this desert.

He turned his head, feeling his eyes burn an angry crimson, making his ears flatten. "... I have not... but I don't think I remember at this point." He answered, feeling a bit guilty for lying.

He shook that guilt, willing his eyes to return to the normal emerald blue, before shaking his head, turning back to look at Liv.

"As for me being officially as a packmember, I am still not... at least I don't think I am. I haven't asked Belli yet."

Before anymore was spoken from him, Einoubis watched with slight surprise when Liv glared at Risk, making the adolecent flatten his ears again.

'Why did she glare at him? Has he done anything wrong?'

He didn't dare to ask, feeling as if it wasn't his place to do so. His head swiveled, awaiting for anyone to speak, his timid nature making him move a bit closer to the pup; he felt a bit more comfortable around the outgoing tyke .

[x] Woo sorry it's late... I had an unexpected delay. And my interpretation of Areno's post was that Risk was the guardian he moved under. But if I'm wrong Please tell me so I can correct my post.[x]

-----

“Wouldn’t that be cool, Riskie?”

Risk managed to pull his appearance together and nod with a half smile touching his maw. Then hackles rose as a fae he had met but had not ever liked sauntered onto the scene. Catching her glare the sandy brute forgot his precious Tali and pull his lips up, but before he could snarl at her he heard Areno move under him and speak.

“Riskie! Why’d she look at you like that?”

He did not quite know what to say and while he gathered his thoughts the sandy brute took the pup's ear in his mouth pulling it down. Releasing it he spoke, hoping the child had not notice his own actions toward the glare; which the pup probably had anyway.

"She was just trying to tell me something." Smiling forest colored orbs looked down at the beautifully handsome pup. Risk's voice was soft, but was not a whisper.

CottonPaws sensed the tension in the air but really couldn't tell where it had come from. Nudging Liv affectionately, she watched Areno scamper away to hide under Riskie, asking him hushed questions. What a curious little pup he was! But pushing that thought aside, she wondered on how se could ease the tension from the group but she really had no idea. Oh, bother, what a mess she'd started! Although, it wasn't necessarily her fault but CottonPaws felt that perhaps, if she'd not been so eye catching in pelt, perhaps this little awkward gathering may not have taken place.

Rising onto all fours, CottonPaws took a much needed drink from the cool river, trying to clear her racing thoughts and relax like she'd intended too. She'd never really been great in large groups and thus she was rather nervous at the moment and made even more of a bumbling fool of herself than normal. Maybe, she thought as she stepped into the cool water and laid down, maybe I don't belong here either.

Shaking her head the pink fae stomped such ungrateful thoughts down as well. How dare she begrudge the kindness that Belli and Liv and even Einubous, Risk and Areno had shown her! They had never scorned her and her she was, complaining! What a horrible fae she was!

Its hot today.

The simple words broke the seemingly awkward tension but in CottonPaws ears they sounded strained and even more awkward than Areno's interregation of Einubous.

" Hello Areno! I haven't seen you in a long while! Are you and Risk playing nice together?" She asked trying to make up for her foolish actions. She watched distraught as the pup ran to his new guardian. " Damnit." she thought cursing silently to herself. why couldn't she have just been sweet! It was unlike her to hold grudges...though not unlike the voice...not at all. And though the question was asked out of kindness and curiosity it also doubled as a check to make sure the pup was safe. Though she knew how he liked Risk, and how Risk seemed to have a strange liking to him.

She smiled sweetly as the afternoon sun beat down upon the wolves. She lolled her tongue out and began to very softly and very quietly pant. she’d been outside all day. " And Risk thank you aging for going to aid Belli during that whole Nex, red paws, situation. I know he appreciated that very much. How are you?" It was time to make up and get this over with. Just because a pup took more liking to this brute didn't mean he was a bad...male. " Silly girl," was all the voice cooed before shutting up. Liv couldn't tell if her head ache was from the voice or the heat, either way it couldn't hurt to get out of the sun.

She turned to the desert male happily. He was much sweeter than she had given him credit for when they first met. She gave a soft nod and a wide smile, "Morning to you as well Einoubis! Oh yes, some strange sickness seems to have struck several of the pups. It's nothing serious though. They are resting in the dens as we speak. I shall need to check up on them in an hour or so though, as for you? What have you been up to this morning? It seems you've met Cotton. And a few of my old friends." She looked to Cottonpaws with a caring grin and then turned to Risk and Areno....ya ...friends.

As the young male tensed Liv stopped figeting and stood tall and ready, had she said something? " Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to uhhh....very good then. Well you came to the right pack many pups and other pack members seem to be in the same boat as you. I know I am." " Liar." the voice screamed...she ignored it the best she could...she only winced a bit. She smiled and cocked her head. She wanted to be on good terms with him.He seemed like he'd be a good friend to have around. "Well you will have to come with me to find Belli! You've been here for a few days now have you not? Unless your still unsure on if you would like to stay here or not."

Suddenly being unable to take it Liv took a step towards the dens, " I would have to agree with Cottn. It's getting a little intense , would you like to carry on this conversation by the dens? In the shade

(I didn't have time to fix my errors. sorry guys!)

(It's okay, Ter. :3)

Einoubis blinked when Cottonpaws made her way to the river, saying that it was too hot, or something like that, making him nod his head in agreement.

"It is hot..." He commented, shaking his fur out to emphasize the point. His large ears twitched when Liv spoke, making him turn to listen more clearly, before the fae stated, too, that it was too hot out.

'At least the gals broke the tension.' He thought, smiling a bit.

When Liv spoke about going for the dens, he nodded, getting up. "That's a good idea." He said, lowering his ears before looking at the rest of the group in a silent question.

"Um... are you all coming?" He asked, motioning toward Liv. "She has a good point; the oasis is much cooler than out here..."

Standing he shook his maw, backing away. "No.. I can't do this." He was thinking back to Tali. Even if it was against her ways, he had to do it.

'Not until she has been avenged.' Without a second any of them, not even the pup. The pup would have made it harder. He raced off as fast as his legs would carry him. Disappearing into the forest.

Areno giggled as Risk took a hold of one of his darkened ears. The whelp gave a goofy grin up at his guardian when he replied to him. “Oh, okay,” he whispered back. His curious eyes peaked up at Einoubis, who was sitting near them. They little tyke’s attention was on Cottonpaws when he saw her move out of the corner of his eye. He raised an invisible brow when he saw the she-wolf lay down in the water. When she made a comment about the weather, he understood why.

At the sound of Liv’s voice, his cranium pivoted towards her. He nodded vigorously and happily replied, “Yes, Miss Liv! We play nice!” His eyes shot back and forth between the wolves in the immediate area as they conversed with each other.

He listened quietly as began to mention the heat again, adding it would be easier on them if they were at the oasis. At Einoubis’ question, the whelp popped his head out from underneath Risk. “We’ll go! Right Risk—?” the shadow that had been above him left abruptly. Areno pivoted his cranium sharply to find Risk…running. “Riskie!” the whelp cried after his guardian. His little paws tried to quickly turn so they could chase after the fleeing adult.

“Oommph!”

He only tripped on himself though.

Areno righted himself on the grains of sand so he fruitlessly try and catch up with Risk. To the whelp’s horror, the adult was already gone. Riskie! he cried out once more. His golden gaze flicked about frantically, trying, hoping, that Risk had just run off in a different direction. But no matter where Areno looked, there was no Risk.

Depressed by his findings, or lack thereof, the little tyke roughly planted his butt in the warm sand. His darker toned ears flattened against his cranium as his little sad eyes stared at his paws. “Where’d Riskie go?” he asked quietly to no one in particular. The other wolves were temporarily forgotten in his distraught state.

Wrong account DSmile

CottonPaw felt sadness for the pup as this risk ran off, leaving the pup alone and confused. She stood and sat beside the little brute, nuzzling his cheek with her nose. Perhaps she could distract him somehow? But how did one go about that when such a large figure leaves... Without you?

Maybe he just needs a little time to think. Come on, we'll go to the oasis and then we'll find him later, ok? I promise.

Cotton smiled comfortingly to the pup, in hopes he would agree. Looking to Einubous, she felt a blush creep up under her pallid fur and she looked away quickly, unsure of what in the world what racing through her confused, silly little mind at the moment. She should be worried about Areno! Nudging him again, she stood and began making her way to the Oasis.

Einoubis flattened his ears to the helpless tone of the young puppy, his emerald eyes blazing with sympathy and worry; why did the brute take off like that?

It was clear to Einoubis that something had really bothered him, but he could've at least told the pup where he was going... he sighed.

He can't do anything to change the past.

So, when he heard Cottonpaws' statement, he nodded, completely agreeing with the pretty wolfess; indeed, the brute needed to think, but the pup also needed something to take his mind off of the depressing thought.

Wait a minute!

"Say... Areno." He said, suddenly inspired with an idea. "You did say you liked my accessories, right?" He began, smiling a bit at the puppy. "You should go with Cottonpaws and Liv back to the oasis. I have to go and get something; it may be something to cheer you up."

The adolecent smiled again, confident that his plan would work. "I'll be back shortly, so wait for me at the oasis, please!"

And with that, the male whirled around and took off into the desert, a large smile on his face; he felt so happy about his new plan, that his tail wagged wildly behind him.

(He'll be back in my next post. Just gonna get a gift for you all! :3)

The fea smiled to Einoubis fondly as he tried to motivate the others to head to the den site, nah he wasn't that bad at all...plus him and cotton seemed to be getting along beautifully. " Not only is there a large water supply but the breeze that floods the oasis is much better than anything you could find out here," she stated nodding to the desert male in an approving gesture and then slowly turning to walk away, they'd follow her.

As Risk spoke a large ear twitched on the top of Liv's head, you can't do this? she whipped her head around to see the brute running off...a smile graced her face, at least until she heard the wail of the pup. The healer’s large eyes filled with terror as she heard the baby's heart broken cries, oh how she suddenly wished Risk would come back. Why had he left! why?! He led this tyke on! How dare he ! Forgetting her past motive she bolted to the pup’s side and rested her head softly on his, in a calming notion. " Areno I think he had something he needed to attend to, he might be back though...who knows!" she said in a hushed voice a optimistic smile took over her face.

Liv glanced up as she felt someone on the other side of the puppy. With great satisfaction she watched Cotton also try to attend to the little one. She bowed her head a bit and then looked back to her; they could watch out for this one, the two of them easily could. “Come on pup, I'm sure Cotton, Einoubis, and most surely my self wouldn't mind playing some games when we get there!" She brought her muzzle to his neck and tickled him softly trying to make him turn around.

“Do you think it's wise to leave right after another party member has already left?" She whispered as she walked by the desert male. Before she could say more he had taken off, though he seemed to have good intentions you could never know. As he raced off the tinted female called to him, " We will, we'll stay right by the main dens till you arrive." Turning to the two remaining she smiled, “Shall we be going then? It's just over this small hill right here,"
