Grey Paw Rules

(It is worth noting that these rule are subject to change. Smile I will revise and add to them as the need arises, it meant to give you insight as to how you character might act.)

The Grey Paws rules are the decision of their leaders. As the Grey Paws were formed from the surviving members of various clans pushed from the northern territory, there is a large amount of fighting for power. The current top leaders are Shaamah and Natcha.

Shaamah’s Rulings (which may be added to as he choses):
1. Those outside the swamp are our enemies.
2. Those that attack our enemies will be rewarded.
3. Those who leave the clan are traitors- even worse than our enemies.
4. The rulings of Shaamah’s court are unquestioned- the punishments are final.
5. If you are not with us, you are most certainly against us.
6. An unjust murder will be met with a just swift killing.

The rules do not cover offspring, etiquette or respect for any form of pack order other than just listen to the leaders. Also, within the Grey Paws there are many smaller bands of wolves that managed to escape in groups. These wolves also have their own sets of rules within their group as well as sticking to the guidelines of the Grey Paws.

If you choose to bring puppy characters into the grey paws you will not be met with derision from the leaders. They consider children a welcome edition to help secure a place in the world for the pack. However, it’s best to steer clear of Shaamah as he doesn’t have much patience for the antics of youth.

If your character fails in battle because they have somehow ignored the instruction of Shaamah, There will be consequences when you cross his path again.

If you kill a pack mate or by some fault of your own someone dies, your pack is likely to turn on you. Or worse you could end up in Shaamah’s court- where sometimes evidence isn’t necessary for a conviction and punishment is swift.

If you try and join the Grey Paws you will have to face Shaamah who will test your merit. The grey paws distrust outsiders as defined by the pack rules. However, a wolf that is strong and can persuade Shaamah will likely be accepted. It is worth noting that many Grey Paws distrust each other, even those who were born in the swamp.
